Dogs are instinctively born to eat a diet of raw meat just like their mammal cousin the wolf. In the dog food industry it’s known as a BARF diet or bones and raw food diet. The dog’s earliest ancestors were capable predators.
Beautiful summer weather is a perfect excuse to enjoy the great outdoors. Some of us are “water people” and just like some dogs are “water dogs”. Sometimes a dog breed that doesn’t typically make a splash will enjoy the water if they are encouraged or just want to join in the fun!
When one of my dogs started to have health problems at the age of six, I got pretty serious about dog health issues. I don’t watch TV much anymore, if I have any free time I’m usually doing research to try and improve and extend the lives of my dogs.
